Many Mini Musicians was able to fund a music teacher for LIFT Alabama's summer enrichment program!
Many Mini Musicians was able to present a check to Mrs. Atwell, the music teacher at Hiland Park Elementary School to help their music program replace damaged parts on steel drums. These funds will impact over 750 students.
Many Mini Musicians had the opportunity to sponsor and fund a summer Arts experience for young students at the Dr. Phillips Center. Located in Downtown Orlando, The Dr. Phillips Center and these funds will impact students across the Orlando area.
Many Mini Musicians was able to provide funding for a music teacher at Camp Hero, a summer camp for children in foster care. These funds will allow them to bring in a music educator that will teach foster children about Music and the Arts.
Many Mini Musicians was able to provide funding for Mrs. Spark's Fourth Grade class at West Bay Elementary. They were able to purchase sound equipment for class performances of double voice poems!
This grant will impact 120 2nd grade students at a local school that will incorporate musical instruments into children's literature to promote their interest in reading and increase the number of books related to music that are checked out of the school's library.
Bay Education Foundation provides funding and support to music programs across Bay County through grants. Many Mini Musicians donated over $1,000 to the Bay Education Foundation in 2020.
Cole is a very talented young musician, but his piano was older and unable to be fully repaired and tuned. Many Mini Musicians was able to help purchase a newer piano for Cole to continue to grow his incredible natural talent!
Many Mini Musicians was able to donate sheet music to the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center for a child who requested flute and piccolo music for Christmas!
Many Mini Musicians had the opportunity to support Deer Point Elementary's music program by donating new percussion instruments! These funds will impact almost 1,000 students over the next several years.
Many Mini Musicians had the opportunity to present a check to Bay Education Foundation. These funds were donated to Many Mini Musicians in memory of Mr. Eddie Armstrong, a local musician who believed in our mission. This will help fund the Arts Alive scholarship that is awarded to an Arts Alive performer every year!
On October 10th, Bay County was hit by Hurricane Michael. Since then, this community has worked tirelessly to recover. The money raised by Many Mini Musicians for 2019-2020 was was redirected to fund school materials for students and teachers who may have lost them in the storm. The first priority was getting students back into their schools with all of the materials they need to learn.
Many Mini Musicians was able to host a benefit concert to help raise funds for the Sharkey-Issaquena County Library. The concert raised over $5,000.00 to assist the library in purchasing necessary items and helping with payroll shortages due to state budget cuts.
This grant, funded by Many Mini Musicians, will impact over 1,000 elementary students in the next ten years as they will benefit from the musical instruments made through this project.
